An experienced Silicon Valley professional with a background in Economic Development and demonstrated history of working in local government to diversify & grow local economies, Jim has worked with major tech employers, early stage startups, venture capitalists and individual entrepreneurs. He combines a background of strong community and social services experience with professional experience in nonprofit organizations, analytical skills, coaching, crisis communications, marketing, affordable housing, the innovation sector, public policy and government affairs to help connect tomorrow’s technology with farmers who want to embrace new solutions to innovate and grow.

Considered a “nomad” entrepreneur and engineer, Elias has spent the last 8 years advocating and developing solutions for what he calls the modern farmer. Starting his professional career as an engineer for one of the largest agricultural producers in the world and quickly progressing into an entrepreneurial career that would develop projects for the protection and advancement of growers, farm workers, rural communities, and California’s natural resources, Elias is now providing tools that the next wave of innovators will need to tackle some of agriculture’s most difficult problems.
